ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Courtney Barr graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2013 and became CA Licensed to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2014. In July 2014 she started her private practice C3 Acupuncture specializing in mental health, addiction, stress, anxiety, pain, nervous system dysregulation, neurological conditions, and trauma.

 

In 2015 Courtney began offering her services in several residential and IOP addiction treatment centers with the goal to help minimize detox and withdrawal symptoms, relieve pain and anxiety, and introduce patients to holistic ways to treat physical and mental health challenges.

 

Courtney’s goal is to educate patients that pain and illness are the body's way of asking us to pay attention. Listening to the body, balancing the nervous system, having compassion for, and finding congruence in, our minds and bodies is how long-lasting quality of life is attained. It is her belief that optimum health is acheieved through education, understanding, and becoming attuned to what our bodies truly need.
